The new album is nearly finished, and we've got a rough early mix of one of the songs ready for you to hear!
We still haven't re-recorded the final vocals... we'll be replacing the original vocal track from the scratch take next, but we thought this still sounded great, and wanted to share it with you all. Enjoy!

BRAND NEW X-MAS SONG!!!
Hey everybody, have we got a killer new track for you.
Kelly, Jim, & Blueberry Jones were sitting around just now, getting ready for tonight's gig down in Kent, and out of the creative swamp-juice that was frothing at our feet in Kelly's living room came a brand new X-Mas song.
Ok, so maybe it isn't completely new, per se. OK, so maybe it's really a parody of John Lennon's 'So This is Christmas'. But it's really funny.
And so, in the last two hours, we wrote, recorded, and have now posted our brand new x-mas parody.
Yoko Ono, please don't sue us. We love John's music, and can't afford it anyway.

It's that time of year again, and we have a special treat for you! a few years back, we were being considered for a Holiday Music compilation, and we recorded a wonderful new version of the classic song, "I'll Be Home For Christmas". It didn't make the final cut of the album, so members of our email list received the ability to view and download this song. This year, however, we're giving it to all of you.

After winning awards at both the Los Angeles Music Awards, as well as the International Acoustic Music Awards, Woodrush has been nominated once again. The all time fan favorite song, "Road Trippin'", has been nominated for "Best Single of the Year" in the ISSA (Independant Singer-Songwriter Association) awards. The results of the contest until will be revealed November 21st. There will be a cash prize for the winner, as well as an opportunity to perform live at the Awards in Southern California. Hopefully Woodrush will soon be graced with their third award for their debut album, "so far from home".

If this page looks kinda empty right now, it's because we've got a brand new website, and we haven't had any news to report yet. Except, of course, for the fact that we have a new website. But you figured that out already. 'Cause you're smart like that. You didn't need us to tell you about our new website. Of course, if we hadn't, you'd be looking at a completely blank 'News' page right now, so it's not like we're wasting your time or anything. Not completely, that is.
Anyway, when we actually have news, it'll be here. In the meantime, feel free to check out the rest of the site. We've got a lot of cool new features that our old site didn't have. Enjoy.
